About

After three years of working on both the agency and client side of the marketing and PR fields, I decided to further my education by obtaining a Masters Degree. I moved from Vancouver, BC to Boston, MA in 2007 to complete a Masters degree in Integrated Marketing and Communication at Emerson College. After some thought about the future of my career, I decided to combine my knowledge of marketing, advertising, PR and makeup artistry.

I enrolled in the Bobbi Brown school of makeup artistry in Boston, MA and began my journey of learning all about the world of makeup artistry. Before that program, I didn’t know that “makeup artist” was a viable career. Now I know that I can work on runway shows, fashion editorials for magazines, celebrities, TV, movies and much more. One of the most appealing aspects of my career is that I can do it from any major city in the world and everyday is different from the next. I don’t like routine, love traveling, fashion, meeting new people and I love makeup so I know I found the right career.

As a full time, freelance makeup artist, I am constantly using my marketing background to develop and cultivate my online presence while establishing new relationships offline. It is because of my background in business and passion for makeup artistry that I am able to provide my clients with a professional and quality makeup application experience.

I practice makeup artistry in the U.S. and in Canada in many aspects of the field especially: runway, editorial (fashion, beauty, lifestyle), I occasionally do bridal and corporate work. I am particularly fond of fashion related makeup artistry.
